A red from Pierre Chavin made from 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, sold as a dealcoholised Vin de France. The house removes the alcohol by gentle vacuum distillation and then adjusts the wine with concentrated must. It has about 30 g of sugar per litre and is served at 14-16 °C, a little cooler than a classic red.

How to read an alcohol-free wine label

What "up to 0.5 %" means. In the EU, "alcohol-free" means 0.5 % ABV or less. We use it on every wine page.
